Students may choose any topic that relates to current events. That includes information about COVID-19, Coronavirus vaccine, the Pandemic, the 2020 Election, Black Lives Matter, 2021 Insurrection at the Capitol, mental health, physical health, the environment, climate change, medicine, housing and/or any topic that is current and relevant.
Students may reference any media and/or information published by peer reviewed journals and publicly funded media. Please review the links below for appropriate references. Students may not write about content that includes false information.
Content that references information produced by media aside from the approved listing will receive a 0 for the assignment. Students may reference information from the following sources:

Information produced by media outlets such as Breitbart News, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, Reddit, Craigslist, 4chan, 8chan, 8kun,The Daily Stormer, Epik, Facebook and/or another other unverifiable website is unacceptable. Only information produced by publicly funded media is acceptable. This assignment is not an outlet for students to spread misinformation and/or nonfactual content. Students that included misinformation and/or nonfactual content will receive a 0 for the assignment and they will be required to meet with the Dean of Students.
