In essence, it is a chance for you to walk the examiners through where your idea/theme/style, etc., have come from (reading, experiences, inspirations, etc.) and how you came to find yourself making that into a book; how the workshopping process and other factors, such as reading on and beyond the course, have impacted your writing; and what’s next – what you think your finished book would look like.
