Select a filmed version of a live play from the resources provided below. Make sure that it is not a ‘movie’ version, but a video of a live stage production. Write a critical paper on the production. Include information about the play itself, the playwright, the actors, the designers and the theatre company. Make sure you comment specifically on the work of the actor playing the role, not the character itself. (This will take a little extra research, since you won’t have a program.) Comment on at least one aspect that would be experienced differently if you were able to see the production in a truly live way. Discuss one element you like the best and one element you like the least. In the conclusion, give your own views as to whether or not you would recommend this production to others and why. Paper must be written in proper MLA or APA format. 3 Pages. This assignment is worth 50 points (10 for structure & 40 for content).
