Essay Question: Imagine that you are the newly elected president of the student activities board and your first assignment is to organize a festival/celebration that will become a signature campus event once we return to post-Covid-19 face-to-face instruction. What will your festival entail, and why? When will it be celebrated, and by whom? What key activities, symbolic behaviors, and rituals will your festival include, and why? Be sure to cite key functions of festival and explain in detail how your event will achieve them. Make sure that you draw on and directly reference relevant course readings.
