Which diet and exercise is the best for weight loss
In the following research essay,
Put yourself in the position of a scholar and research an issue within the discipline that you are planning to major in or the field of work that you are training for (you may also pick any topic that you feel passionate about or want to learn more about). Researchers are looking for answers to questions. What questions do you want to answer for yourself and why? (e.g. Is technology addictive? Or Is vegetarian diet the best for everyone? etc. ) Within your own field of study that you are gravitating towards, go read what others in the field are writing about. Visit the library databases and ask questions.
After researching, take the position of a judge and come to a conclusion/position on the issue at hand. Remember that Academic writing is an act of “benevolence.” To write academically, you must have a “thesis.” A thesis is a statement that answers valuable questions like; What is the most accurate and worthy action or perspective to take in relation to an issue in the topic? Do the thinking for your audience. State the thesis objectively and factually. As a judge, that is your duty.
Argue your findings, i.e. the correct way to “be” in regards to the issue. Use legitimate evidence and reasoning to convince your audience that you are being reasonable and acting justly on the issue. Use at least 6 sources. At least 4 of the sources must be from scholarly journals or books. You may use any of the readings from the semester.
