Supplier Quality
Example: A good relationship with suppliers is essential in the achievement of the desired quality. Supplier must understand and communicate on a constant basis with the manufacturers in order to be on the same page and achieve the completion of the desire product. As our textbook mentioned, if the quality of the product delivered by the supplier is not the adequate, the overall product can be compromised and the manufacturer would be at faults instead of the supplier. For this reason, it is important to have good relationships with suppliers so that they know what kind of quality the specific company is trying to achieve. For instance, I work for a software and logistics company, when we developed a new software and put it as use we take in consideration the feedback of our clients. If a specific features is missing that would improve the quality of the Mobile App we would go back and develop it. We are is constant communication with our clients to know what their needs are and how we can achieve them. This helps us improve the quality of our softwares and deliver high quality products as expected by our clients.
