Paper Sections
Literature review: This section will be the shorter of the two sections. It will provide an overview of what other people have written on the topic, including a synthesis of the various main arguments made by different authors. This provides a context for your research. In short, you should aim to answer these questions: What have other people said about this topic? How does my research fit into what’s already been written?
Primary Source Analysis & Argument: This section will be the longer of the two sections. It will provide an argument about your chosen topic through analysis of primary sources. In short, you should aim to answer these questions: How do these sources shed light on the topic? What conclusions can I draw from my analysis of these sources?
