Case Study
This is the culmination of your learning. You are to show what you learned about marketing, your industry, your brand, and Gen Z as a consumer group by creating a case study about your learnings. Remember you are to show, not tell. Show me via a story. Support your story with evidence, Make a recommendation to someone (your brand, the industry, or people who hire Gen Z) about how they should interact with Gen Z, and most importantly, add your personal reflection. This is not an academic article – give us your opinion.
The audience: You determine who the audience is for this assignment. Questions to get you thinking: Will your case study live on the website of your brand? Will it be published as an Op-Ed to the New York Times? Or will you submit it to an industry blog? How will the publishing place (remember 4 Ps) affect how you write?
Where it will actually be published – this is going to be submitted as a PDF on Blackboard, so you will not actually be submitting anywhere, but I should be able to tell just by reading it if it is a magazine article, an opinion letter, etc.
Words – 700-800 – I will not be counting your words unless it looks suspiciously low or high.
