Throughout this course (EDPD 8070: Special Education: Exploring Theory and Practice), you have been collecting research and collaborating on an identified issue in the field of special education. You have analyzed research, for and against the issue you identified. You have also created an action plan along with technical documents suggesting the need for change and/or the need for continued support of the issue you identified.

For this Assignment, you will synthesize all of the research you have collected and analyzed and create problem statements that could further drive the need for continued research in the field of special education.

Submit an explanation of the issue(s) in the field of special education you chose to focus on. Include 3–4 problem statements that could further drive the need for future research in the field of special education based on your synthesis of the research you collected and analyzed related to the issue you chose.

Part 1: Problem Statements Using the resources for this module, feedback from class colleagues, and any additional research conducted, candidate writes 3 or 4 problem statements that represent potential topics for candidate’s future doctoral Project Study or EdS Capstone Project.

Part 2: Closure Reflection II Candidate writes a closure reflection that answers the following guiding question: How have you learned to self-manage, self-monitor, and self-motivate to effectively manage your time and your course workload?

Part 2: Closure Reflection III Candidate writes a closure reflection that answers the following guiding question: How have you expanded your repertoire of skills and incorporated new findings in your practices?

Part 2: Closure Reflection IV Candidate writes a closure reflection that completes the following: Return to the “Dispositions Self-Assessment” from Module 1 and update your goals for personal development (Column C). Summarize the changes you made to your dispositions assessment and goal planning in this reflection. (Find my disposition self-assessment in the documents attached)
