Assignment: Theories and Models in Your Area of Specialization

Looking at your area of specialization begin to look at theories and models that might apply. Management practitioners need to be able to take a management topic, trend, or issue, and identify and analyze the management theory and model that underlies the topic. This is a skill you will develop throughout your program.

Briefly explain the model(s), and how these models relate to the topic and/or theory.
Include appropriate citations to the literature throughout the Assignment to support your position.

Making Connections
This week, you described your experience with espoused and theories-in-practice based on an organization you know or where you are employed. You explained how scientific literature may establish connections to theories-in-practice. You also have been working on your Skills Inventory and have begun to explain and share examples of the required skills identified for this class.
