Question –
Reflect on ways in which we could measure “police abuse of force” in a cross-country comparative research design. When doing this reflection, make sure that you explain the process of “operationalization”. When you are done posting your answer, make sure to comment/reflect on your peers’ postings.
The objective of this assignment is for you to reflect on the challenges of measurement when conducting international and comparative criminal research and demonstrate understanding of the process of measurement with an example that shows how to “operationalize” a concept.
